This is the latest felt board that I made for our Storytime at the Library. The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.

One night under the light of the moon, there lay a little white egg on a leaf.

The next day which was a Sunday, the sun came out and from the little white egg popped a little caterpillar. He was very hungry, so he went to go find some food.

One Monday he ate through a red apple. But he was still hungry.

On Tuesday we ate through two yellow pears. But he was still hungry.

On Wednesday he ate through three purple plums. But he was still hungry.

On Thursday he ate through four juicy strawberries. But he was still hungry.

On Friday he ate through five oranges. But he was still hungry.

On Sunday
he ate through a box of popcorn, a lollipop, a pickle, an ice cream cone, a slice of swiss cheese, a whole fish, a cupcake, and a slice of watermelon. That night he had a stomach ache.

The next day which was Sunday again, he ate through a green leaf and felt better.

However, he was no longer a tiny caterpillar, he was a big, fat caterpillar.

He built himself a small house, called a cocoon which he stayed in for over two more weeks. When he came out, he was a beautiful butterfly.
